Cursor response

Post by histry » Thu Aug 24, 2006 5:00 pm

I have the same issues as couple other people. The cursors response seems to be tied to the number of data points. When displaying large datasets the cursor movement is not smooth. The DrawAllPoints property helps but the cursor seems to lag the mouse position. Are there any plans on correcting this?

Hi histry,

Could you please try what I suggest at this thread?

BTW: Which TeeChart for .NET version are you using? Please notice that cursor tool drawing was enhanced for Build 2.0.2179.21171 (Compiled in .NET Framework 1.1) and Build 2.0.2179.21172 (Compiled in .NET Framework 2.0) which were released on December 2005.

Cursor Response

Post by histry » Fri Aug 25, 2006 12:24 pm

I created a release version and do not see any difference in response. I am running the latest release build for the .net 2 framework. I have 2 traces each having over 80,000 points. Performance to display is great, just an issue with the cursor lagging the mouse movement. I could create a small avi file to display using snagit if you would like.

Thanks
