Post by Robert van Poelgeest » Tue May 18, 2004 4:54 pm

Hi,

when i reopen a previously saved project all topics are empty. When i try Edit - Refresh i get:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Hope this can be fixed soon (or a reasonable workaround) because this is a show stopper for us.

With kind regards,
Robert van Poelgeest

Mmmm, I'm having trouble reproducing this one as well. Would you be so kind as to specify the steps I have to take to do so?

Many thanks!
Thank you!

Hi Chris,

We load the assemblies from the obj\Release directory but the xml file is in the project directory itself. Also the different projects reference each other. If we use an installscript we use the following command:

cd "C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeGofer v2"
TeeGoCmd.exe /afn:"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\Uml\obj\release\MetaObjects.Framework.Uml.dll"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\obj\release\MetaObjects.Framework.dll"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\DataAccessLayer\Db\obj\release\MetaObjects.Framework.DataAccessLayer.Db.dll"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Models\Core\PrimitiveObjects\obj\release\MetaObjects.Models.Core.PrimitiveObjects.dll"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Models\Core\ComplexObjects\obj\release\MetaObjects.Models.Core.ComplexObjects.dll"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\Design\bin\Release\MetaObjects.Framework.Design.dll" /cma:"R.vanPoelgeest@metaobjects.net" /cn:"Robert van Poelgeest" /hv:version2 /crm:"2004 MetaObjects B.V." /df:MetaObjects.Models.Core.BusinessObject /ht:MetaObjects.Models.Core.BusinessObject /im:PublicProtected /pbt:"MetaFramework.NET" /pn:"MetaFramework.NET" /pof:"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\Help\Reference" /ixml:"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\Uml\MetaObjects.Framework.Uml.xml"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\MetaObjects.Framework.xml"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\DataAccessLayer\Db\MetaObjects.Framework.DataAccessLayer.Db.xml"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Models\Core\PrimitiveObjects\MetaObjects.Models.Core.PrimitiveObjects.xml"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Models\Core\ComplexObjects\MetaObjects.Models.Core.ComplexObjects.xml"+"C:\DOT NET\1.1\MetaObjects\Framework\Design\MetaObjects.Framework.Design.dll" /tbc:"MetaFramework.NET" /ihm:All /thpbuild /compile

If I then open MetaFramework.NET.thp I get the problems described.

To help reproduce the problem it is possible to sent the projectfile (thp), assemblies and xml files through email.

With kind regards,
Robert van Poelgeest

Hi Robert,
If I then open MetaFramework.NET.thp I get the problems described.
I've been able to reproduce this problem here which occurs when running TeeGofer from the Command Line and have included a fix to v2.0.5.5 which will be released shortly.

If you would like an interim build with this fix in please let me know.
Thank you!
