TeeTree Expand and collapse causes black canvas

The teetree canvas is becoming black if a large tree with scroll bar is collapsed. This happens when collapsed tree does not have scroll bars (automatic)
Hi,
We've problems to mimic this behavior. We've created a tree with 5000 nodes, each having one child. Vert & Horz scrollbar are set to automatic. Expanding/Collapsing the root node, does not give a black canvas.
Could you provide us a source code example?
