Purchased Version Says Trial Has Expired

Post by EBID » Tue Mar 13, 2007 6:22 pm

I began with a trial version of TeeChart for .net 2005, then purchased it 3 weeks later. After intalling the purchased version, I am still getting a message stating the trial version has expired.

I totally uninstalled the product, then installed the purchased version again, but no change.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi EBID,

It seems to me that the new version wasn't properly registered in windows. You should check if you have a teechart.dll other than the TeeChart version you are using pathed under the registry's:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\AssemblyFolders

or

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\AssemblyFolders

If so, please remove the AssemblyFolder entry or update it to the path of the required version of TeeChart.

Then you should also check that the references section in your project points to the new TeeChart assembly and I'd recommend you to use "clean solution" menu option and rebuild the solution.

If problems still persist don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks for the rapid responses. Much appreciated....

Ive removed the referenced then gone back and added Teechart
Under properties Version shows as 3.5.3225.32184
and Runtime a V2.0.50727
As far as I can see there no way to set runtime separately.

That non existent parameters problem is now cured. Still working on the other problem with series color.
