Just tried to use the 2020.30 update with 10.3 Rio. When I started the IDE, I got missing entry points and the packages would not load. I then went back to the 2019.27 update which worked correctly as before.

We always build TeeChart (binary versions) with the latest updates and patches on the supported IDEs. So, TeeChart v2020.30 binary is built with the Update 3 on RAD 10.3 Rio. Do you have it installed?

No, I am using update 1. I had trouble with update 2 and had to back off. Since update 1 was working for me, I just stuck with it. "Ain't broke, don't fixi it".

I will just keep using the 2019.27 for Rio since I will try to move to Sydney shortly.

Hello Mike,

Worth noting another alternative is to use TeeChart with sources.

So does that mean 10.4 installer is still in the future ??

No, v2020.30 supports 10.4. I was just trying to clarify the binary installer includes the TeeChart packages built with all the updates installed in the supported IDEs (XE to 10.4).

After gotting some problems with some components, I deinstalled .29 version to upgrade to .30 version (using still 10.3.3) so I need to install again.
But having some problems earlier (but at that time Delphi didn't upgrade the encironment variables installed for the free version which had been installed even without marking that I wwaanted free version installed sometimes with an earlier Delphi version, pointing to wrong folder.

So now my question is, should only either binary version, source version or both be installed and in case both, which order, binary first or source version first ???

We use to recommend to install the binary version first, and the source code version secondly (and run TeeRecompile).
This way you should end having the help and demos (which is only shipped with the binary version) and the paths in the IDE pointing to the source code version.

However, we also strongly recommend manually checking the paths after any installation.
