Recompile error

I'm trying to run the recompile program to build XE3 32 and 64 bit. When I do I get the following error...

Why is it looking in TeeChart Pro 8.08 Full Source Code..... directory? Do I need to install version 8.08 code first?

I am afraid that TeeChart Pro 8.08 isn't supported by RAD XE3, RADXE2 and RADXE as you can check in next threads:

Moreover, If you are interesting you can do something as do the client in this link with version 7. But if you want work with XE3 without problems, I recommend you upgrade to the actual version.

Please read my initial post carefully before you respond as our time zones are very different and I will have to wait another full day.

I did upgrade to Tee Chart v2012.07.121105 and I installed the binaries but they do not include 64 bit so I am trying to recompile the source code. I am running the recompile application that shipped with TeeChart2012SourceCode.exe and that application is what is looking for version 8.08 code when I select only the XE3 32 and 64 bit checkboxes. The error is real since I DO NOT install Tee Chart version 8.08 source code.

Why is it looking for version 8.08 code?

First, I inform you that the TeeChartVCL (v2012.07.121105) included x32 and x64 bits. I check it here and appears x64 bits as you can see in next image:

Why is it looking for version 8.08 code?

Is possible your path are incorrect, because using last version of TeeChartVCL (v2012.07.121105) source code I haven't found any problems. Please following next steps to try to solve the problem:
1.- Install the last version of TeeChartVCL Source Code v2012.07.121105.
2.- Open Teerecompile as included in this version.
3.- Check your path is correct, you should have a similar path:
C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro 2012 Full Source Code\Sources
If you have a different path please, change it.
4.- Selected option to compile RAD XE3.Win64 v17 Architect (RAD XE v10 Architect) (C++) and click begin.

Yes, this issue can be closed...Thank you.

The problem was the path in your list numbered 3. It was pointing to TeeChart Pro 8.08 Full Source Code instead of 2012. I suspect this is a bug in the installation program for the 2012 version since I never installed the source code for 8.08
