On an IPAD steema teechart is restricting the scrolling

I Have a display where we use Steema Teechart control, when this display is loaded in IPAD on placing the finger on the teechart control and if we try to swipe it is restricting the up or down scroll for the page. If the swipe is performed on non Steema Teechart control area scroll is working as intended.
We have specifically disabled scroll property for the control since we do not want our x axis and y axis value to be changed. We would like to know if we disabled scroll property for the teechart control will it not allow the user to scroll the page on keeping the finger on the control?
