The TeeChart ActiveX version is 7,0,1,4, now an error that occurs when using TeeChart7 (v7,0,1,4) ActiveX in IE7, which is Mark Tips Option can not be applicable, please reply promptly.

Could you please send us a simple example project we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here?

First, thx for ur reply, The TeeChart ActiveX version is 7,0,1,4, now an error that occurs when using TeeChart7 (v7,0,1,4) ActiveX in IE7, which is Mark Tips Option can not be applicable, the tooltip can not be generated in the case of using Mark Tips Tool, and after installing TeeChart7 (v7,0,1,4) ActiveX, u can use the teechart7cab.htm to test, the teechart7cab.htm lies in the folder of cab files.

Thanks for the information. I had understood that the TeeChart version you are using is v7.0.1.4. However, it would be very helpful for us if you could send us a simple example application we can run "as-is" to reproduce the isue here.

U can test following these steps:

1. Install TeeChart7ActiveX Module

2. Execute teechart7cab.htm (C:/Program Files/Steema Software/TeeChart Pro v7 ActiveX Control/Cab files/teechart7cab.htm)

3. Click 'Add a Series and file values' button

4. Clicke 'Show TeeChart Editor dialog' button

5. Editing Dialog->Tools->Mark Tips

6. After closing Editing Dialog, Mark Tip can not be generated whether mouse move or click

If u follows the above-mentioned steps in IE6, Mark Tip can be generated,
however, it does not work in IE7.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for the information. We have been able to reproduce the problem here. This is a known issue with IE7 which we will try to fix it for future releases.

In the meantime you can use Annotation tools for creating mark tips. I've sent you an e-mail with an example.
