Re: The chart shows an error when adding lines

Hello! A couple of things: 1) there's a new version of TeeChart on NuGet, v.4.2020.9.16 - does the problem still occur with this version? 2) using the project I sent you, I changed the button click code to this: private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { if(timer1.Enabled) { timer1.Ena...

Re: The chart shows an error when adding lines

Hello, which version of TeeChart are you using? I've prepared a TeeChart example using your code and the latest TeeChart version on NuGet which you can download from here: http://steema.com/files/public/support/AddPointsToSeriesTEST.zip As you can see, I'm adding in ten points a second using a timer...

Hello, can TeeChart support retained mode? Do you have a better solution?
Unfortunately we don't have a high-performance retained-mode graphics version of TeeChart at the moment, I'm afraid, and I don't believe we have plans to make one available in the near future.

Re: Pinch to Zoom

If I get you right, you are not willing to put the WPF product into a usefull state. This is important to know for our future proceeding. It isn't a question of will, it is a more prosaic question of time and resource allocation. It is also worth mentioning that 'usable' is not a particularly objec...

Re: Pinch to Zoom

And what's with the problem that pinch to zoom doesn't respect the point on screen it is performed? It just zooms the center of the actual view. In the tests I made on the screen I made them on, this was not a problem. It is going to be difficult to perfect this particular aspect if the behavior va...

Re: Pinch to Zoom

Christopher, the zoom is too slow. This hasn't to do anything with mobile phones. As I say, particularly the speed of Zoom is something which is going to be extremely difficult to improve in TeeChart.WPF.dll; I think it's unlikely we are going to get significant speed improvements without a substan...

Re: Pinch to Zoom

It has to be the same like on an iPhone or an Android device. No, in fact it doesn't. The WPF framework was not designed as a platform to be used on mobile phones, and so there is no expectation that WPF components behave in an identical way to those written against platforms specifically designed ...

Re: Install of old version

Hello, Can you make that available? Or is there location I can get the source for the demo app for TeeChart .NET 3.5 ? It was Winforms application. Yes, all our older installers are still available - please go to steema.com -> Client Acess, login, and then click on 'Release archive' firefox_2020-08-...

Re: Pinch to Zoom

Hello, okay, I've had a look at the code and have made a few modifications - you might like to try the TeeChart.WPF.dll you can find here: http://steema.com/files/public/support/TeeChartPro_4.2020.8.20.zip And let me know what you think. I'm not sure how easy it's going to be for us to greatly impro...

Re: Display settings and font size

Hello Ed, Can it be escalated? I really need a fix ASAP. I've escalated the importance of issue id=2364 to 'critical', as you can now see. I've also added the binaries which we used to reproduce the problem - similarly to you, we can reproduced the oversized font expansion running binaries built in ...

Does your touch display react anyhow?
Yes, it works, but my setup doesn't enable that example to work. Tomorrow I will try the example on another setup, and if it works I can look again at the WPF issue. Apologies again for the slow pace on this issue.

Re: SubChart’s Series disappear

Hello, Is there any way to determine the position and size of the SubChart with SubChart.ChartRect? No, not really, because they are two different things. One thing is the position of the TWinControl relative to its parent (Left,Top) and its size (Width,Height), and another thing is the size of the ...

Re: Display settings and font size

Hello Ed, unless I'm mistaken, which of course I could be, I tried the app you posted and specified my results in this post of mine - in this post of yours you said that the exe I compiled on my machine using 10.2.3 worked okay for you, which prompted me to add an issue to our tracker with id=2364 ....

Re: SubChart’s Series disappear

Hello! If Charts have Margins (MarginTop, MarginBottom, MarginLeft, MarginRight) and Axes have Offsets (MinimumOffset, MaximumOffset), how to modify the code ? The Margins require no code change, as they automatically change the ChartRect size - the Offsets do require a change, as they affect the va...
