Description yeray alonso 2023-07-31 09:54:48 EDT
As the customer says in the forums none of these seem to work:

  // Set Scrolling.Active to False
  TeeGrid1.Scrolling.Active:=False;

  // Set Scrolling.Mode to TScrollingMode.None
  TeeGrid1.Scrolling.Mode:=TScrollingMode.None;

  // Set Scrolling.Vertical / Horizontal to TScrollDirection.Disabled
  TeeGrid1.Scrolling.Horizontal:=TScrollDirection.Disabled;
  TeeGrid1.Scrolling.Vertical:=TScrollDirection.Disabled;

Tested with the demo at:

Work in progress.

Already done in v1.15:

Scrolling.Active is now a read-only boolean property.

It is set internally to True when a scrolling operation by mouse dragging or finger touch panning is currently in progress. It is not intended to be modified by end-user code.

Fixes will be done to use Scrolling Mode and Direction properties in more situations. These are currently used when dragging cells only.

Scrolling a grid can be done in several ways:

1) By code, changing the currently selected cell or cells range.

2) Vertical scroll using the mouse wheel, if enabled.

3) Using the arrow keys to select cells outside the current viewport, thus needing to scroll.

4) Clicking or dragging the scrollbars (mouse or touch).

5) Dragging and panning over the cells area, by mouse or touch.

6) Changing by code the scrollbars position Value, to force them to scroll.

In all those cases the Scrolling Mode and Direction properties can be considered, but scrollbar dragging is managed by Firemonkey/Vcl so the scrollbars thumbs will move but the grid will not scroll. Maybe better to hide the scrollbars to not confuse the end user.
