It seems that the Themes need a little revision. Some of them seems to not change the marks/legend color or gradient and it may produce unlegible marks/legend.
Apart from th marks and legend, the Facts theme adds a GridBandTool. and if you select anothe theme, the Band remains there.
Also, the speed theme selects 2D view and the others's don't force the 3D view so after selecting Speed theme, all the others will also be 2D.
Moreover, I think that would be interesting take a look to client comments in this point "It appears that the purpose of the "Scale" checkbox is purely to be able to better observe what the effect of the theme is upon the chart while this dialog is in use, without affecting the chart itself"
All this can be seen in the Chart Themes demo (All features\Welcome\Aspect)
